Planning Exams
When you filter your plan sidebar to view tasks within their start date and encounter a large task, such as an exam or a final paper, you should start planning it in small chunks right away. This reduces the chance of cramming the night before an exam or missing a deadline on your paper. A little effort every day goes a long way.
This is how to make an exam study schedule.
For example, you can start planning your exam three weeks ahead of the exam day. In the first week, you can plan an hour every day. In the second week, you can plan an hour and a half every day. By the third week, you can increase this to two hours every day. Spacing things out like this is proven to be much more effective than cramming.
So just open your plan sidebar. Find your exam, make sure you estimate enough time for studying for the exam, and start dropping it into small and big study blocks during the weeks leading up to the exam, until all the estimated time has been fully planned out.
We'll cover all this in more detail in our "80/20 College Success Masterclass."
