Awake Time Overview

Awake Time defines the parameters of where Shovel will find available study time. The Calendar will show light areas when you are awake and gray when are asleep.
You can still schedule anything you want within the gray areas (sleep time), but Shovel will only find and calculate study time within the white areas (awake time).

After you drop it in or drag to to create a new study time, a dialog will appear where you can adjust your awake time precisely and set the repeat pattern.
How to repeat awake time
To set the repeat pattern of your awake time, click the “does not repeat” dropdown and select whether you want the awake time to repeat weekly or on selected days only.

When you select “repeat weekly” you can select on what days it will repeat. For example you can set the same awake time for Monday through Friday and then a different awake time for Saturdays and Sundays.

The Awake Time page can also be accessed directly from the Calendar by hovering over any grayed-out sleep time and clicking on the Adjust Awake Time link.
